Headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, United States, Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (hereinafter UL) is America’s first institute that has developed safety standards and handles certification.
As a global complex test and certification institute, UL provides various services, such as product safety tests, issuance of certificates, environment tests, product performance tests, and issuance of certificates regarding health care and medical devices. It also provides education sessions and seminars.

According to the agreement concluded with UL, KATRI has cooperated closely with it and has led in the efforts to support exporting companies in Korea.
