EQ mark
The EQ mark is a quality certification scheme designed to protect consumers and distribute eco-friendly products by certifying that the harmful chemicals remaining in textile products and other consumer products are within the allowable criteria. The EQ mark is an official certification mark introduced by KATRI and approved by KAS.
Information for the operation of the certification institute
Certification auditing committee: The highest auditing and decision organization in the certification institute, which consists of professors, representatives of manufactures and suppliers, as well as users or consumers
Certification institute: Textile business division of KATRI
Carry out initial certification auditing (site auditing and product auditing)
Carry out postmanagement for each type of certification within the certification system once within the certification period (excluding Type I)
Carry out renewal auditing upon the expiration of the certification period
Issue a certificate when the auditing and postmanagement results conform to the criteria

System Types Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, and Ⅴ: 2 years
