Inspection of procurement products by a specialized inspection institute

Introduction of the scheme

This is a scheme in which a specialized inspection institute (an institute authorized by the government inspects the procurement products that are purchased and delivered by the Public Procurement Service (PPS)

PPS designates inspection institutes with some qualifications as specialized inspection institutes, and thus designated institutes carry out delivery inspection at the delivery sites or at manufacturing factories before the products are delivered according to the procedures of relevant regulations.

Designation of applicable items

The head of the Procurement Quality Management Office commercial items that would incur significant social costs when they are defective in quality and that are used by many institutes of the government.
